OtoSome - New Delhi - An electric motorbike seems to be the answer from a two-wheeled manufacturer to bring environmentally friendly vehicles. Not only does the motorcycle manufacturer exist that presents the technology, start-ups also compete to bring the zero-emission vehicle.
Indian start-up, Ultraviolette Automotive, plans for future electric motors. The start-up plans to mass produce electric motors that appear quite radical at the end of next year.
The company already has a prototype. In fact, this start-up has attracted the interest of large producers to grow their shares. TVS, for example, invested in buying 14.78 percent of the company's shares.
Returning to the motorcycle, Ultraviolette claims that the electric motor is not inferior to conventional motorbikes. In fact, its performance is equivalent to a 250 cc gasoline engine.
"We are building high-performance electric motorbikes that unite the best technology and design to deliver an unrivaled user experience," said Ultraviolette Automotive Founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam as quoted from Visvisordown, Monday (3/9/2018).
"Motorcycles will have smart features such as onboard diagnostics, preventive maintanance, online upgrades, and travel adjustments," he continued.
