Finally, Datsun GO has an automatic transmission variant. This latest Datsun GO uses X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
New Datsun GO is available in a manual selection of four variants such as D, A, T and T Active, while the CVT transmission type has three variants, namely A, T and T Active. Uniquely, Datsun GO uses the same engine but different performance between the manual and CVT transmission variants. Datsun Cross CVT is 10 Tk larger.
"This CVT was developed in conjunction with the engine used now. So (up to 10 Tk) to make it easier for the CVT to be controlled because of the wide gear ratio," explained Anton Khristianto, Nissan Motor Indonesia R & D Manager in Yogyakarta on Thursday (03/05).
Challenging Honda Brio Satya E
Previously, in the LCGC segment, there were already cars using CVT. Honda Brio Satya E is the first LCGC to transmit this. 1.2 liter engine (same as Datsun Cross) has been supported by an electronic Drive by Wire system.
Will the Datsun GO CVT attract attention or even shift the interest of Honda loyalists to move to another heart? Which one do you choose?
